This is a simple, sew as you go bag that knits quickly and is completely finished when you take it off the machine except for weaving in ends and crocheting a cord.
A standard bar of soap fits in it but when it's empty put your little pieces of leftover soap in it and call it a Soap Saver Bag.

Materials: Lily Sugar 'n Cream Cotton Yarn (Machine tension 8) or
Lion Brand Micro Spun (Machine tension 5)

Mid Gauge Machine
Size G crochet hook
1 package of bobby pins
Directions for Lion Micro Spun are exactly the same as Sugar 'n Cream except the tension is much smaller. Make sure you have your antenna tension tight as well because this soft yarn likes to loop under the carriage.

Machine tension 8 (5)
Cast on 12 stitches with waste yarn and knit a few rows Hang cast on comb and 1 claw weight.
Knit 1 row ravel cord
E-Wrap cast on over ravel cord
Hand knit first row if your carriage doesn't want to knit across

RC00 Knit 4 rows
Transfer every other stitch to adjacent needle, leaving empty needles in work, K across

NOTE: Grab your bobby pins. You'll be hanging a pin on the yarn between carriage and 1st needle every row on carriage side only, starting NOW. Make sure the pin is up tight against the work, or your sew-as-you-go loops will be too big. (I hold the yarn coming from the antenna to keep it from looping when I knit the Micro Spun)

Pattern:

RC00 Knit 25 rows, hanging a bobby pin on yarn between carriage and 1st needle every row on carriage side only

RC 26 Begin hanging stitches that are on bobby pin starting opposite side of carriage (remove bobby pins as you get to them , knit to row 50 (you should be out of pins by now) Transfer every other stitch to adjacent needle, leaving empty needles in work, K across, knit 3 more rows and latch tool bind off.
Weave in ends

CORD:
I found it impossible to make I-cord with Sugar 'n Cream yarn so I did the following:
Crochet approximately 65 chain stitches and weave through the eyelets
Sew in a bow, fraying the threads on the ends of the crochet cord.
OR crochet a long cord and make this a soap on a rope.
